Happy Sweater Children Knitting Pattern and Yarn

Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Striped sweater for boys and girls in deliciously soft Hip Wool. Colorful and fun stripe knitting for children. Knitted top-down with raglan increases. Short rows at the neckline for a better fit. The pattern is the same as our «Magic Sweater» for children, here made in stripes for inspiration.

FIT
Ease (positive ease) is approximately +10-15 cm from bust/chest measurement for a slightly loose fit. Feel free to adjust as desired. Measure a sweater the child already has and likes the fit of. If the child measures e.g., 64 cm around the chest, size 8 years will fit best (16 cm ease) or size 6 years with 12 cm ease. Choose size based on upper body measurement and adjust sleeve and body length to the child. Note – correct measurements assume gauge is maintained.
