CHERRY JACKET KNITTING PATTERN

Knitting pattern jacket with cherries. Colorful cherry jacket – a fun and different project with an awesome result! Simple design, inspired by granny squares made Fruity squares,  for true HipKnit style.

Jacket is short to normal fit, wide arms. Sewn together with visible seem between the squares, for an edgy raw look. Length can be adjusted. On pictures in size M.

Knit it in many different color combinations- we reccommend using scrapyarn.

SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS

XS/S (M) L-XL

Width about:   104  (110) 124 cm

Length:  44 (47) 51 cm

Arm: 47 (47) 47 cm

Fit – choose a size + 5-10 cm from your width (positive ease)

FLUFF MOHAIR GARN 

16 balls, 15 different colors ( 1 ball each color, 2 balls rib color).

Colors used are:  ««Fairytale pink» (2 balls), 1 ball of:  Vanilla» , «Forest green», «Blooming lilac» , «Baby Blues» , «Pine Forest», «Berrylicious», «Candy Pop pink», «Foxy grey», «Bubblegum», «Snow» , «Lilac Breeze» , «In love Pink» , «Jelly Bean green» and «Must Have Mint”.

You can use Hip Mohair and get the same gauge. You then knit 4 strands together ( make 4 small balls out of one ball Hip Mohair, or 2 balls and use both ends).

On this jacket size is adjusted by knitting needles. Size small on needlesize 5,5 mm. Medium 6 mm, Large /XL 6,5 mm.

Rib and placket on needlesize e 5 (6) 6 mm.

Knitting gauge: Small needlesize 5,5 mm : 16 st x 22 r = 10 x 10 cm i glattstrikk, Medium  6 mm: 15 st x 20 r = 10 x 10 cm i glattstrikk. Large / XL: 6,5 mm : 13,5 m x  19 r = 10 x 10 cm

Level: intermediate / advanced

Needlesize Small: 5 and 5,5, Medium: 6 , Large / XL: 6 and 6,5 mm.  Short circular needle (40 cm) for arm, 80 cm for body.
