NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK PANTS KNITTING PATTERN

Knitting patterns pants for kids,  merino wool and cotton. Fun and playful knitted pants for kids in our POP merino or cotton yarn, Cuddle Me Cotton. Knitted top to bottom. Knit it in one color, with stripes, different colors on rib like on pictures. You can choose to knit it in cotton or merino , same knitting gauge. Fit is wide, high waist. Long rib in feet so that it will fit for a longer time.

Width around: 57 (59) 61 (65) 67 (69) 72 cm

Feet length 30 (35) 37 (41) 45 (47) 51 cm

Full length 48 (57) 61 (66) 71 (73) 78 cm

(feet and total length is without the rib folded. If you fold the ribb the pants will be 4-5 cm shorter)

YARN

On pictures pop merino size 2-3 years on boy 3 years in colors  «Falling for you blue» (rib waist). Rib feet «Jelly bean green» and «Summer Vibes yellow». Main color «Chocolate Toffee» , stripe color  «Coconut white».

Cotton pants tripes in color  «Falling for you blue» and  «Popcorn» Cuddle Me Cotton, size 3-4 years on girl 3 years.

For pants as shown in pictures you need:

Pop Merino

2 (3) 3 (3-4) 4 (4-5) 5 balls main color

1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 balls stripecolor

1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 balls color rib

1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball each rib color feet (10-20 grs each color).

Single colored version: 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 balls color of your choice.

Cuddle Me Cotton

Striped version 2 (2) 2 (3) 3 (3) 4  balls color rib and stripes.  1 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) 3 stripe color 2.

Single colored version: 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 balls color of your choice.

Knitting gauge  20 st = 10 cm on needlesize  4,5 mm in POP merino. Cuddle Me cotton same or go down 0,5 mm in needles.

Elastic waistband 1-2 cm or knit an icord.

Needles: Circular  (40 or 60 cm), dpn 4,5 mm,  dpn 3,5 mm. Circular 40 / 30 cm  2,5 mm.

Level: Intermediate
