ATLAS SWEATER WOMEN KNITTING PATTERN

Knitting pattern for a lovely striped sweater with fine details and fit. The sweater is knitted from the top down. You start by casting on stitches at the neck and knitting back and forth while increasing on each side to achieve a nice fit over the shoulders. Once the back piece is finished, the front pieces are knitted by picking up stitches from the back piece. The front and back pieces are joined after the armhole is finished. The sleeves are knitted from the top down, by picking up stitches in the armhole of the body.

FIT
The sweater can be loose-fitting, approx. + 20-30 cm ease. This means you should choose a size that is 20-30 cm larger than your own bust measurement (or widest point of your upper body). You can also measure the width of a sweater you already own and like the fit of. For example, if you are 94 cm around the chest, both size S (19 cm ease) or M (25 cm ease) would be a good fit.

You also need a needle for thread attachment, scissors, and a measuring tape.
