MERLOT SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN AND YARN
Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Lovely everyday sweater with nice details and fit. The sweater is knitted from the top down. You start by casting on stitches at the neck and knit back and forth while increasing on each side, to get a nice fit over the shoulders. When the back piece is finished, knit the front pieces by knitting up stitches from the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted together after the sleeve opening is finished. The sleeves are knitted from the top down, you knit up stitches in the sleeve opening on the body.
FIT
The sweater can be wide, about + 20-30 cm range of motion. This means that you choose a size that is 20-30 cm more than what you measure across the chest (or the widest point of the upper body). Feel free to measure the width of a sweater you already have and like the fit. For example, if your chest is 94 cm around, both size S (range of motion of 19 cm) or M will fit fine (range of motion of 25 cm).
You will also need a needle for thread attachment, scissors, and measuring tape.
