MILLA TULLÉ SKIRT KNITTING PATTERN

Knitted skirt for women. Tullé skirt knitted top down double stranded Hip Mohair.  Choose long or short version, with or without split. Elastic waistband. Knitted in the round back and forth when making the split.

Long skirt 74 (75) 76 (78) 80 cm

The skirt is very elastic – go down a size rather than up. Negative ease – the width in pattern should me lower than your width around waist where you would wear the skirt. Model on picture has 8 cm negative ease (means she is 8 cm bigger around her waist than the measurements of the skirt width in pattern). If you choose a bigger size you would have more “ballerina/ tullé effect)

YARN

Hip Mohair XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL)

Short skirt  7 (8) 8 (9) 10 (11) balls

Long skirt 11 (12) 12 (13) 14 (15) balls

You also need an elastic band, 1 cm width. Available in hobby – or yarnshops.

Knitting gauge: 20 st x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needlesize 5 mm

Needles: Long circular 4 and 5 mm (80-100 cm).

Level: Intermediate
