MAGDA MOHAIR SKIRT KNITTING KIT

Knitting pattern for a beautiful tulle skirt in mohair yarn. The skirt is knitted top down in double thread Hip Mohair, with a folded edge for an elastic band in the waist. It is knitted short rows on the back for added length

The skirt has a range of movement of -10-15 cm (negative ease). This means that if, for example, your waist measurement is 80 cm, size XS will fit best with -12 cm in movement range (or wherever you want the skirt to sit). The pattern is designed to sit at the narrowest point/high on the waist. The skirt is very stretchy in the knit, and the fit can be both loosened and tightened as desired. If you are unsure, you can knit one size up and tighten the elastic more when sewing it in.

Note – correct measurements assume that gauge is followed. Therefore, it is important to choose the correct needle size according to your gauge.

Recommended Needle Sizes:

Circular needle 4 mm, 80 cm

Elastic band for the waist, 3 cm in width. Available in hobby stores and most yarn stores.
