Knitted jacket for children with stripes. Cute, soft and fluffy dream jacket for children. Knit from the top down – You start by casting on stitches on the back piece and knit back and forth until the sleeve opening is finished. The left and right front pieces are knitted from the cast-on edge of the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted together into one piece when the sleeve opening is finished and then to the desired length. The sleeves are knitted from the top down.

FIT
Range of motion (positive ease) is approximately + 20-25 cm from chest measurement/upper body width for a loose fit. If the child measures, for example, 70 cm around the chest (or widest point of the upper body), size 4-5 years will fit best (range of motion of 21 cm). Choose size according to the upper body width measurement and adjust the length of sleeves and body to the child.

You can replace 1 strand of Fluff mohair with 4 strands of Hip Mohair. This will give you the same knitting tension and a wide range of colors. There are several colors that are similar in Fluff and Hip Mohair, and can therefore be used for another if we are sold out of, for example, a color in Fluff that you want. If you choose to use Hip mohair as a stripe color, you will need 1 extra ball. When knitting with 4 strands of Hip Mohair, you can either use both ends of 2 balls of Hip Mohair to get 4 strands, or divide 1 ball into 4 small ones.
