CALL IT LOVE SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN

Knitting pattern for a lovely sweater with a lace pattern. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in BonBon yarn or Fluff Mohair. Once the body is complete, the sleeves are knitted. The sleeves and body are then joined, and raglan decreases are worked.

Pictured in BonBon color “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, size Small on a model 167 cm tall, normally  size XS/S.

SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS

XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL-XXXL).

Width: 114 (120) 128 (138) 145 (155) cm

Length: 55 (58) 60 (64) 67 (70) cm

Arm: 45 (45) 45 (45) 45 cm

Positive ease approx  + 20-30 cm measured around chest for a comfy fit. If your measurements around chest (or widest part upper body) is 92 cm you will fit size S (positive ease 28 cm). Choose a size based on the width and adjust length in arms and body if necessary. Remember that you need to have the right gauge if the measurements are to be correct. It is important to choose the right needlesize. A tip is to measure width on a sweater you like, and choose the nearest fit.

KNITTING GAUGE 16 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles

Recommended Needle Sizes:

Circular needles 4 mm 80 cm and 40 cm, DPN

Circular needles 6 mm 80 cm and 40 cm, DPN.

(If you knit using the Magic Loop method, you don’t need double-pointed needles.)

You will also need needle, scissors and measuring tape
